"I am a first time bike owner, and I was referred to Gen X by an experienced buddy of mine after buying a 2003 Kawasaki. Knowing next to nothing about the mechanics of motorcycles, I was left to the mercy of my buddy and Jon from Gen X. My first encounter with Jon was nothing short of excellent. He was courteous and explained to me what was needed to be done. During the maintenance, Jon came across another issue that was unknown from the beginning and took care of it. I definitely recommend Gen X due to their excellent customer service, attention to detail, and reputation. They definitely set the bar high."

"Jon and JP of Gen X Performance have proven to be able to take care of a tedious task with great success. I have a non-collector bike that is old and in need of knowledgabe attention. I had help from knowledgable friends, but the time committment demanded more resources. The dealer refused to work on it saying they don't work on bikes older than 10 years, and the over-the-phone quote I got from another shop was significant enough to wonder if it was worth repairing at all. Well, Jon and JP gladly accepted the task. Despite the rarity of the bike that took a bit of time to get the parts, they tuned and cleaned and rebuilt the carbs, and had it running reliably for the price of a new bike tune-up. I'm pleased. Now that I know where the difficult-to-identify-shop is, I'm content with their help! If you can't find it, keep looking, it's in the back and it's worth the search. Thanks Jon and JP!"

"I have been using the services of GenX Performance since they first opened for business. My experiences over the past few years have been first rate - especially after having my V-Star serviced by the dealer. When first looking for an alternative to the dealer, I tried to find a mechanic who would respect my limited knowledge of motorcycle mechanics [even though I have an engineering degree]. I offer the following comments based on my experiences with GenX. First: Jon and JP are perhaps the most honest and reputable motorcycle mechanics I have ever used. They are attentive, well-trained, experienced, and courteous young professionals who have staked out a niche where experienced and newbie bikers alike can receive personalized care for their bikes, repairs/maintenance done right the first time and very reasonable pricing. GenX is well organized, down to earth, and quite experienced. This year it was time to replace tires and add attention-getting lighting. Jon and JP provided a range of options with the pros/cons well set out and pricing for me to make a decision. The repairs and upgrades were completed as promised, on time and at the price quoted. They did a few extra needed adjustments without extra charges. Fair, honest, and reputable services. That's GenX Performance."

"TWO THUMBS UP!! Great experience manager quite helpful gave me pricing choices for new tires, he took the time to show me the problems that I had and repaired them at a reasonable charge (compared to the dealer). While the bike was in for repairs I had them install HID headlights they are UNBELIEVABLE !"
